Vice President of Sales & Marketing

"Overview: This role will be responsible for managing and growing all sales and marketing aspects. This will include our direct sales organization as well as all partner and channel networks. You will inherit a team of 18 people spread out across the existing sales and marketing organization. You will be responsible for growing and broadening the existing relationships within our enterprise customers and the team.

Additionally you will be expected to:
- Develop the global sales strategy
- Manage/support all direct reports
-Provide advice and information to President/CEO and Board of Directors as required
- Channel business development
- Oversee the allocation of budgets to support sales initiatives
- Manage enterprise customer relationships
-Provide Leadership to individuals on teams through coaching, feedback, development goals and performance management
- Recruiting, motivating and managing performance of department personnel

Year One Critical Success Factors
- Work with the President and EVP of Marketing to grow sales trending at least 30% over prior year
- Develop and motivate the current sales organization and hire key players in target markets
- Significantly grow sales in key practice areas
– Contact Centers, Public Safety, & Security, Financial and Energy Trading
- Establish relationships with 5 – 10 new business partners (preferably Cisco and Avaya)

Things you will need to have:
- 15+ years of sales experience, preferably with both direct and channel sales experience
- 3+ years of management experience at a VP level or higher
- Previous experience in telecom, call center, and software/hardware industries
- Ability to recruiter, train, and drive sales from new hires and partners
- Proven track-record defining and meeting revenue goals
