Security Administration Manager
Schaumberg, IL · Human Resources"Summary: The Security Administration Manager manages a team of security administrators who support and administer security technologies as implemented by the Security Engineering team.
Job Function:
• Responsible for managing a team who operate, administer, and serve as a subject matter experts on security tools including but not limited to:
o Identity and access management tools
o Vulnerability management tools
o Antivirus and Endpoint protection tools
o Network security tools
o Data Leakage Prevention tools
• Application Security tools
• Reports regularly on the team's performance against SLA and OLA targets
• Develops consistent processes around security administration tasks
• Implements recurring processes through the team
• Escalation point for change requests for key IT security operational areas, acts as level 2 engineering support
• Supporting break/fix activities regarding operational stability of security technologies
• Escalating issues to engineering or vendor support where necessary
Preferred:
• Role requires international travel typically not exceeding 2 weeks per year. Local travel to other Ireland sites, typically not exceeding 1 day per month
• Team lead for 3-5 people
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
• Ability to manage security administration staff
• Basic to Intermediate security technology administration experience
• Experience with working across business unit and geographical boundaries to engage team members required
• Experience and interest in technology within areas of responsibility
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Zurich specific security tools
KNOWLEDGE:
• Strong communication skills
• Strong integrity and highly ethical
• Execution - the ability to consistently deliver, time and again
• Technical competency and acumen
• Security technology administration knowledge and experience
• Ability to repeatedly, consistently, and reliably perform security administration tasks
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
• Basic to Intermediate understanding of security technologies
• Basic understanding of audit processes
• Intermediate network security skills
• Written and oral English language proficiency
• Other language skills are valued"
