Diesel Engine Calibration Engineer

Excellent company looking to add a Diesel Engine Calibration Engineer to their team!
 
 
Responsibilities:
-Develop diesel engine performance calibrations to meet existing and future emissions regulations.
-Create and execute test plans that will thoroughly evaluate engine performance.
-Contribute to component development (fuel systems, air system, etc.) including specification development and supplier interaction.
-Effectively work with other engine functional groups including Engine Controls, Base Engine, After treatment, and Applications.

Qualifications:
-Excellent communicator who thrive on solving problems and working in a team environment. 
-BS degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering or 3+ years of engine calibration experience. 
-3+ years of experience with diesel engines, subsystems, and individual component development and qualification.
-Knowledge of electronic engine control systems and demonstrated proficiency in the use of controller development tools and calibration techniques.
-Proficiency in the use of engine test lab equipment, data acquisition, and data analysis tools.
-Knowledge of diesel engine emissions control technologies.
-Diesel engine development and calibration experience, development experience with electronic unit injector and common rail diesel fuel injection systems, engine air system development experience with turbocharged EGR diesel engines, engine hardware development experience, engine electronic controls algorithm development experience and experience with Design Of Experiments methodologies, modeling and optimization.
